Can't really fault Ron Artest this time JJ, he just snapped after he realized that even if he tried doing the right thing by just laying on that table wasn't good enough for fans, etc. Now Stephen Jackson is another story. I wish a capable fan would of got hold of him to give him a wake up call.Heck, if anyone is to blame for starting this whole mess it would have to be Ben Wallace for overreacting on that foul..........

You cannot go into stand period

These guys make Rodman look like a Saint

Lets face it, Artest will end up in jail. He has some type of anger problems.

I wish someone nailed him in the head with a bottle or someone knifed him

He is a thug

Of course it was you ashhole!!

He provoked the whole thing from the hard foul to lying on the table.

Too bad he was not knifed and taught a lesson

There were 10 fouls in the league last night harder than Artests. Laying on the table was definately obnoxious, but you can't blame him for this. Big Ben TOTALLY overreacted and shoved him in the face and then a fan threw a beer on him. I'm no Artest fan either, but others were more to blame.

JJ thats the most rediculous thing youve ever said. what you said in the thread title.

every single sport has its occasional melee and these things are sparked by all different races. there is one in every village JJ. not just the blacks and certainly not just the NBA.

what about the snowball incident at giant stadium or the incident with the bottles in cleveland or the hockey incident where the fan gets beat down in the penalty box. what sports were those? what race were those guys?

I dont think this is going to hurt the perception of blacks in the NBA, I saw people of all races doing idiotic things last night.

if youre at your job and someone tosses a drink at you, what do you do?

I would probably run through the office and find the smallest white dude with glasses holding a bucket of popcorn and pummel his ass:103631605 regardless if he was the one or not

I had a friend once tell me just because a person gets a ton of money they don't change.

If a person is a drunk before money then they become a rich drunk.

If a person a drug head before money then they become a rich drug head.

And if a person is a thug before money they become a rich thug. And we witnessed a trio of rich thugs.

That was a disgrace last night. I would love for everyone to boycot the NBA. Hence, there would be not as many rich thugs.

By the way, Did you notice that the guy Artest attacked still had his beer in his hand. He was not the guy who tossed the beer. It was the guy to the geeks right. I hope he sues the Hello out of the rich thugs so he can become a rich alocholic geek that enjoys watching rich thugs.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Ben Wallace's original reaction was not as bad as Artest's cheap foul. He didn't go for the block and just added a thug move for emphasis. It had absolutely no bearing on the outcome. When you're up by 15 with 45 seconds left, it's rather obvious what Artest's motive was. How can you fault Wallace for his gut reaction to a needless foul that actually was a sucker puch move from behind. Things probably would have subsided had Ben not thrown the towel, but with the lunatic Artest laying on the announcer's table, it was all about showing up the Pistons and dissing their house. It still hasn't sunk into that peanut head what actually shows up your opponent is beating them on the scoreboard and all the other bells, whistles and bling don't matter. For some unknown reason I guess the braindead fans thought Ben's throwing of the deadly towel meant to throw whatever was available. I guess if you're a fan of the NBA, you better get used to these inner city streetball antics. This will not be the only scene to occur.

youre a tool. there are these so called 'thugs' in all sports (im guessing this means black guy with tatoo in your definition) everybody should boycott the nba. yea. ok. becuase a few hot headed athletes and some ******* piston fans we should just rip our tickets when tim duncan or shaq or lebron come to town.

you just stick to sports where guys dont wear tanktops and the thug tatoos arent showing and everything can feel nice and safe in your little world.

for every ron artest there are 10 randy mosses or quincy carters
