The offense is struggling but you can see that they miss Seymour and the Raiders don't look quite as dumb as everyone thought.

Oakland eeeked it out vs one of the worst teams in the NFL. Jamarcus Russell is AWFUL. Believe me they are as dumb as everyone thought and then some.

lol brady is only in his 2nd game after missing a whole season, welker was out for the game, it was a road game, and facing a coach who knows them very well. give the pats a couple weeks and they will hit stride. although their defense is young and alot of injuries, they will probably have alot of shootouts

Dumb overall, but maybe not as dumb when it comes to the Seymour trade.

Isn't he a free agent after this year. So unless they vastly overpay him he will leave after one year and the raiders are out a 1st round pick. I'd say thats pretty dumb.

What's the matter truth hurt? Now come the countless excuses Seymour, injuries, etc.

And why do you think these guys that left the coaching staff and looked so good at the time - Weiss and Crennel especially - have for the most part fallen flat on their faces? It's easy to win when you know the plays run in advance and offensive and defensive coordinators are made to look like geniuses.

I dont get why everyone is talking about missing Seymour or the defense being bad.. it was clearly the offense that was the problem for the majority of the game vs Buffalo and against the Jets today. Going on the road and only giving up a TD and 250 yards of total offense is solid. If you told me that the Jets were only going to score a TD today I would have thought the Pats win easy. It is the offense that is the problem right now, Brady gotta shake off the rust. Welker out was a huge blow to the offense too.. he is Brady's safety valve especially against an aggressive blitz defense. Jets D is legit by the way, not to take anything away from them

I am the furthest thing from a Pat fan, but can we knock off the 'cheating' references please.

The Pats are a better than average team still, but nowhere near the caliber of team they were say six years ago.

They have key injuries, I believe Brady is not 100 percent, and I also believe Brady's head is not into football as much as it used to be.

I think its pretty clear....

it became pretty clear when they went 16-0 in the regular season following the allegations, and went on to lose in the super bowl on a last minute combination of a hail mary pass and miracle catch. They were only giving teams like 15+ points per game that year because they sucked so bad.

the following year, after losing arguably the best QB in the game in the first qtr of the first game, Belichick manages to go 11-5 to become one of the few NFL teams in history to miss the playoffs with 11 victories, maybe the only one to do so with their 2nd QB.

18-1
11-5
1-1

30 wins, 7 loses you're all over that shit man. Do you really think game announces are going to embarrass themselves so bad?

LOL
