J.J. Bascus Ratings are Free From Our Group To You~ We all as group are NFL Gamblers & Players that handicap NFL games. The only reason anyone would sell substandard low rated plays is to make sales every day. They'll tell you it's just business and never mention one big fact. All the Sportsbooks win more then they lose in all sports every single year. Why do you think most handicappers do not give all their members the same plays? Answer: because many handicappers do not win more than they lose in each sport or finish with a winning record often in most sports. The reason is because most rely on trends to try to beat sportsbooks when it does not work consistently enough and they sell plays every single day instead of waiting until they have solid plays to release. J.J.Bascus Power Rating and predictions are free and always will be free? Why he is NFL player like rest of our group who handicap's games for our group also Northern Nevada & Northern California. J.J. provides all of our group the same sports picks and proven winning strategies with the numbers. You must take calculated risks. winning bets comes after doing something correct many times in a row. Accept the fact, there are obstacles on the road to success, no one reaches winning season in one leap, it takes averaging your wins in entire season. Losing streaks happen to everyone, no matter how good you are. It has happen to me after a long streak of winners if you been following my threads that I post. Don't chase losses with bigger bet
This about little about J.J. Bascus & Power Ratings Reno N.V. J.J.Bascus was born and raised in Covington KY. His father was an illegal bookie and his grandfather in late 30s had illegal gambling joint there called the Kentucky Club. J.J. Power ratings are a local rating and I will explain why? !!!!. He does not have a web site or affiliated with any sports services. Only answers his cell phone for very close friends & family. His power ratings are free..... J.J. Bascus rating are usually on two sheets of paper that he composes and passed to Keystone print shop off of West 5th street in town. They distribute the rating sheets to most sportsbook in Reno. Everybody and grandmother picks up the sheets that bets NFL football and they copy the rating using their computers, send them to friends, players, and everybody and their grandmothers and whoever else?.. His rating is primary seen in the Reno Area and Northern Calf. There are some sporting newspapers in "Bay Area",that post his rating to that use there own affiliated names in publishing. There also Sports Web Sites on the web that publish his ratings using their affiliated names also. His ratings are free, not copyrighted. You have to remember that J.J. Bascus, Smitty, Benny, Bee Bee and myself are NFL gamblers that handicap/ We are not social players, advisers or whatever? that handicap games for no other reason other than make our NFL bets and Win !!!!!, just gambling on the games. Believe me I am more than happy to post the ratings and our predictions on RX Sports Forum[ some great members here] that like to bet on the NFL games. This my 1st year with RX as a member and I am very happy to be here with some stand-up friends I met Saints Fan1977, Grindstone30, Indiana... just to name a few!!!! here, and some great members that handicap & bet here on the forum..s
System Smitty Ryan J.J.s analyst of our group has always told rest of our group including J.J. you shouldn't bet games where lines have moved a few points or more and take the worst of it. Money line here has value, money moves with the spread, in the playoffs its a must!!!!! You don't have to be a pro to bet like one. Sports-books lines are only adjusted when too much money from the public is on one side. Public steam games never had a great winning percentage after early lines change, any possible edge is gone. Sportsbooks actually win 99 out of 100 times if a line moves six points or more. One Bet at time ...You can't win? if you don,t press once. I believe our group and myself records does speak for itself as the single strongest winning formula I and most of our group use in my NFL game prediction, with the same assumption of each about its probability to win. Remember, our group method is not risk adverse, and considerable risk is assumed when you choose our method of predictions & Bet. As with any gambling, or investing, there is always risk whether it’s systemic or otherwise.
Thanks all for your replies. Remember I sit at Caesars Palace sports book with fellow handicappers & friends with my lab top analyzing games and watching the board on spreads and money line movement for Sundays games. I try to post picks as early as possible for you all RX members, however sometimes with line movement and calling J.J. Bascus in Reno with his power rating update and other handicappers, book makers across the country I lose track of time. I try to post our picks as soon possible before game time that gives you guys a chance to get down with a bet. I also post early in the week for J.J. Bascus power rating and some predictions. I am not perfect in times once in a while especially sitting with old school friends and handicappers taking about games & looking at board, trying to type an update for a post for you guys[ Lot things going on at once//LOL/LOL... I am not as young as I was especially typing//LOL/. I am always open to constructive criticism & feedback's on replies and will try to post as early as possible.
PS. Good luck all my Rx friends & members and guests in upcoming playoff games

Thank You

Again thank you for your contribution here at the Rx and a thank you to the rest of the guys. A great insightful read always. I wanted to tell you I believe our paths have crossed before. I worked at the Stardust ( where the line originated ) in the 70's while in college. You said that you frequented the Stardust at that time. I worked for and with some of the greatest minds in the gambling industry. You could say I got my start there lol. I learned a lot but my father was one of the greatest sports gamblers in the world barring none so learned plenty from him as well...

Again thanks for the write ups, insight. And plays from you and the gang

i usually come to Vegas three or four times a year but haven't been there in two years because I have a two year old waddling around the house now lol. But Ceasars Sports Book is one of my favorites and when I get there again I'll definitely look you and the gang up.

Sheriff Ralph Lamb was a cowboy sheriff in Vegas back then and anything goes in the downtown clubs. Does that tell you anything. He use has breakfast at Papa Gars Restaurant on Industrial Rd every morning. You could actually wear a side arm weapon those days, no kidding!!! walking down Fremont St. The Cowboys ran downtown joints like Sam Boyd[ Vegas Club], Bucky Blane [Golden Nugget Saloon and gaming hall,] Benny Binion,[ Horseshoe club] Wild Bill Jimson of Pioneer club and so on. Gaming commission was controlled by Mormon cowboys back then. Most Strip properties were owned my Mormon's of which Hotels & Casinos paid rent to the Mormons. Most strip hotels and casinos were built on Teamster money because banks would not loan money. However, Valley Bank owned my the Mormons in later years did give loans, just ask Steve Wynn when he borrowed money to buy Golden Nugget from Bucky Blane. His 1st Hotel and casino he redesigned in early 70s .I use to know Frank Lefty Rosenthal who was sports book manager at Stardust in 70S. J.J. myself use to hang out with Lefty Rosenthal and Bob Martin who told us stories about how the line got ironed out before it was given to the rest of the world. The bar was Thoroughbred lounge owned by Bill Miller[Boxing promoter for strip fight of week at the silver slipper casino on the strip in the 70s} where we use meet. The sportsbook we use you hang out was right next door where we use make our bets Sammie Cohen's Santa Anita Sports Book across street from Stardust in 70s.

Any other sports you guys cap? Also you guys ever join the LVH NFL Contest? Can't wait for next yr when we start week 1 together hopefully

Grindstone my friend on Rx Sports Forum, We as group only Bet & Cap NFL only, that's is the only sporting event we wager on and handicapping games. J.J. only composes his power rating & predictions of NFL only. However we correspond with each other all through the year. Benny & Sammy & Little Bobby Lancer all leave Vegas and head home. Smitty & Bee Bee and myself all stay in Vegas. We throughout the year will visit each other in the group including J.J. Grindstone we are very tight knit group and have known each other for years, very good friends almost like family Grindstone. J.J. & Smitty and myself are all protégés of late Bob Martin Las Vegas resident of 34 years [ who was one the best gamblers & handicapper of the NFL to ever be in Las Vegas back in late 60s early 70s. He managed the old Churchill Downs Sports Book in the 1960s and early '70s and ran the Union Plaza sportsbook in the 1970s and early '80s. He invented the "half-point line," eliminating ties with bettors.]. Martin's accurate lines were used by bookies all over the country, and the Las Vegas line posted by Martin became the industry standard. He passed away at 82.Hårr¥THëHÄT

Something to Consider JJ Philly Assuming that the "juice" (the interest or vig) is 10% (i.e. you must wager $110 to win $100) you must win 11 out of 21 bets to break even, or 52.4%. This gives the house an edge of 4.5%. Hitting 11 out of 21 bets may sound easy to do, but if you have been wagering for some time now like me you know this is not. The average bettor actually picks below 50%. The difference between 50% and 60% does not sound extreme, but over the NFL season it could cost you difference between losing money and making a profit JJ Philly. Many handicappers JJ Philly claim to be "hitting 80% during season" but I can guarantee that they can not do this on a consistent basis and over the long term. In 2013 season in NFL Bye Week Picks were 57% including 65% (11-6) on the 4* and 5* picks making it a very prosperous year! If you could consistently pick 55% you will significantly increase your original investment. Consistently picking 60% is like batting .400 in Major League Baseball "..Very Good Luck To You My Friend In NFL Playoffs
