Can a team who hasn't scored a touchdown in two games beat the Bears by a touchdown?

I love my Bears, but the season for them is over. Detroit has a ton more to play for and is at home on Thanksgiving (for those into that particular flavor of voodoo)

But honestly let's take a look at the Bears last two wins. Opportunistic? Lucky? I look at the games against Minny and TB as the Bears winning despite themselves. These were not convincing wins.

Key stat for me: The last 3 teams the Lions have played hold opponent QB's to a rating of about 82-83 and are top 10 in the league. The Bears? They make every QB look like Montana and are bottom 5 in the league.

Nobody is better than Detroit at stopping the run and if Forte can't get things going, it could be a long day for Cutler.

Fun Fact: Last time the Bears won on Thanksgiving day? 1993. Before that? 1980.

I'll take Detroit, some red wine, and a couple of dabs for the win.

I'm all over the Lions bro.......a lot of Bears love on this board.

More important, the reasons you've mentioned.

Lions have such a good defense, I believe 10 of their 11 games have gone Under the total........

Lions IMO, will crush the Bears, good luck & have a great holiday!

I'm leaning towards the Lions having a break-out game against Chi.

Interesting factoid since Week 1 Detroit has not scored more than 24 points in the last 10 games. They are struggling for sure on Offense.

I don't think the Bears are as good as their last 2 games would lead you to believe and the Lions aren't as bad as their last 2 games would lead you to believe. Public perception of these 2 teams is out of line. I see a market correction and a Lion's win in this situation. Detroit -7-110 and a possible final score around 27-13 or 30-13. GLTA and Happy Thanksgiving.

If this game were played 3 weeks ago, the Lions would be a double digit favorite. The Bears were coming off embarrassing losses at New England and Green Bay, where they were completely demolished. Before that, an embarrassing home loss to the Dolphins. Since then, as noted, the Bears won two games at home against a couple of also-rans. Meanwhile, Lions lost two games on the road against the current #1 seeds in each conference with good defenses (where they were competitive).

The two wins by the Bears might have helped steady them (as they were reeling). However, it's a fact that the Lions are currently out of the playoffs and this game is a must win. There's no way I would take the Bears unless I was getting at least 10.

Lions by 17 to 20

I think that's what the line is suggesting. And Dongers first line says it all. A team that hasn't scored a TD in last two games favs by a TD+??? The Bears seem to be getting the love the books were after.
