Arguably the best defensive front just basically added a fresh first round pick to the roster. I can't wait until this Ohio State team gets in to the playoffs and just smashes everyone. Take the 6 to 1 odds now. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better for this team. This is HUGE HUGE..Oh and bank them this week to cover against Indiana this weekend as well. This is not my first post, I had to change screen names...To anyone that really knows anything about college football. You can not argue against the quality of this Ohio State team, and how hot they are. This addition is scary.

I do believe you are correct on the Indiana game on Saturday. Urban needs to show the committee not just a win but a major beatdown of an inferior opponent and Indiana fits the bill. Indiana's only hope of scoring rests on Coleman and the Buckeye D will be all over him like a wet blanket . Even if the Hoosiers score 14, which I highly doubt, I can see the Buckeyes easily getting to 49 and covering the 34.5 IMO.
I like the side at -34.5, but would worry on the over. The only way I take the over is if I think OSU can get to the 66 by themselves which is a possibility if they are motivated to do so. Can they...yes, will they...?I would not count on IU to score any points in this game when consider playing the total IMO.

Minus two qb's post Mizzou game. Down to Third string qb and awful at that position now. Defense has went to hell too. Be careful on IU offense versus this Buckeye defense who only has to stop one player, Tevin Coleman. Again, just my opinion.

First of all, you are correct IF Ohio State gets into the four team playoff format they could be dangerous. #1 reason wouldbe giving Urban Meyer four weeks to prepare his team.

BUT

not sold on Barrett at QB and IF wisconsin wins Saturday they could pose a difficult game for Ohio State in the Big 10 Championship

BUT THEN AGAIN

THEY WILL BE A DIFFICULT OUT FOR ANYONE

If you have watched every minute of every game of this team, as I have, you have seen the massive improvement in every aspect of this football team. Now add a fresh all big ten DE to the already ridiculous D line and its honestly so scary it gets me wet in my pants. I hope Braxton Miller transfers or we convert him to a corner or something (semi joking). JT Barrett is just that good. Maybe this stat will open the eyes of the haters on this forum.

From ESPN....Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett has been responsible for 38 touchdowns this season, tied with Oregon's Marcus Mariota for most in the FBS and more than twice as many as Braxton Miller (15) and Terrelle Pryor (14) had in their first 10 games with the Buckeyes. That is crazy!

Not only does the guy do it all but he is so smart with the ball and doesn't make the dumb mistake. I say the heisman goes to its third red shirt frosh in a row!! At 15-1, seriously not terrible odds to take a flier on. These young guns are all Urbans recruits. So to you naysayers, we have plenty of speed to keep up with the SECs, the Oregons(who we beat easily when we last met with T Pryor at the helm), whoever. On both sides of the ball. This is not your prototypical Ohio State team. This is the most complete team in the country right now. Look for an easy cover this weekend. We roll it up, and if you're scared of a back door, our back up Cardale Jones is very capable and pretty solid himself. I dont love the over, (even though the bucks are 9/2 O/U) because Indiana doesn't haven't Sudfield, and I think we stack the box and shut Tevin Coleman down. I see like a 49-3, 49-6 type game. We clinch big ten championship game as well for a little incentive as well

First of all, I'm a Big 10 fan because I played in the Big 10 so let's get that out of the way...

There have been several games where Barrett has not performed consistently. He has had great games but his play vs Penn State where he was pressured constantly he was rattled and threw a number of key interceptions. His performance vs Minnesota was somewhat inconsistent as well. Against Virginia Tech although his first or second start I believe he was sporadic as well. He's a good QB but truthfully he's a mistake waiting to happen...

Like I said, if Wisconsin makes the Big 10 championship Ohio State will have their hands full basically because the Badger defense will pressure Barrett. Also, the Buckeyes defense will have their hands full with the Badgers running game. It will be an interesting game if it happens. Anyone else Ohio a state blows out...
