THE TENNESSEAN [/FONT]DETROIT — Titans cornerback Nick Harper had a suggestion for Lions receiver Calvin Johnson after Tennessee routed Detroit 47-10 at Ford Field: Find a way to get out of Detroit.
"He was frustrated out there today when they couldn't get him the ball, couldn't protect," Harper said. "It showed on his face. At some points, it was like he really didn't want to play, some points it looked like he did."
Johnson, the outstanding second-year pro who entered the game with 48 catches for 905 yards and eight touchdowns — both team highs — finished with a team leading five catches for 66 yards.
It was the offensive highlight for the Lions, who moved one step closer to becoming the second team since 1970 to end a season winless.
