Amazing that so many dumb Americans allowed this guy to win a second term. I'll give them a break on the first election.

OBAMA IN DENIAL, SAYS HE DOESN’T FEEL REPUDIATED IN LAST NIGHT’S REPUBLICAN WAVE ELECTION…

Posted on Nov 5, 2014 at 11:03 AM in Politics | 45 Comments

Our delusional president is taking the stance that since Democrats ran away from him forcing him to sit mostly on the ‘sidelines’ in this election, that he was not repudiated in last night’s election:

NY TIMES – Two things were clear long before the votes were counted on Tuesday night: President Obama would face a Congress with more Republicans for his final two years in office, and the results would be seen as a repudiation of his leadership.

But that was not the way Mr. Obama saw it. The electoral map was stacked against him, he argued, making Democrats underdogs from the start. And his own party kept him off the trail, meaning he never really got the chance to make his case. “You’re in the Final Four,” as one aide put it, “and you’re on the bench with a walking boot and you don’t get to play.”

The Republican capture of the Senate culminated a season of discontent for the president — and may yet open a period of even deeper frustration. Sagging in the polls and unwelcome in most competitive races across the country, Mr. Obama bristled as the last campaign that would influence his presidency played out while he sat largely on the sidelines. He privately complained that it should not be a judgment on him. “He doesn’t feel repudiated,” the aide said Tuesday night.

This is ridiculous. Obama himself said his policies were on the ballot just a few weeks ago:

I think the truth is Obama is simply trying to create a rationale for the media to use in support of him as he continues his dictator-like agenda while ignoring Congress as much as he possibly can. See, Obama is the obstructionist now if he doesn’t work with Congress so he’s giving the media a reason to make excuses for him so he can continue to use his pen and his phone or something.

“The new congress will send me bills I will not sign. I will use my authority which Congress will not like. But that is how a democracy works” -- Obama after the American people SOUNDLY REJECTED his failed radical ideology

The Republican wave that swept over the states left Democrats at their weakest point in state legislatures since the 1920s.

The state legislative chambers now stand at 65 Republican, 23 Democrat, 1 tie, and 4 undecided.

Abbott announced that he has named First Asst. Attorney General Daniel Hodge the chief of staff for his transition team.
The newest Texas governor in 14 years told reporters that during his time in office, he plans to focus on continuing job growth, improving schools and border security.
Abbott also talked about gun control.
"If an Open Carry bill is passed by the House and Senate, I will sign it into law," he said. "If Open Carry is good enough for Massachusetts, it's good enough for Texas."

Thankyou)(&

Last night in Illinois represents the first time a president’s home state governor (for whom Obama personally voted) lost a bid for reelection since 1892.

:pointer:

This is much, much worse than the 1994 repudiation of Clinton. At least Clinton reacted by reaching out. Obama stood there today pretending the Democrats merely have a message problem.

Remember how the leftist imbeciles were talking about a 'permanent majority' after the 2008 elections?

The funniest thing is, the ass-clowns in here that were calling those that despised Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Biden "fringe."

It's clear who the "fringe" really are.
