Seems simple enough...doesn't it ? Packers at home against a Panthers team coming off its 1st loss since week 6...Lambeau Field, Farve or no Farve is a tough place to bounce back after a loss. And Rodgers has been twice the QB Delhomme's been the past 3 weeks....and yet I don't feel the slightest need to take the Packers at home at such a cheap price...I wonder why that is?

New York Giants @ Washington Redskins

Line - Giants -3½

Who in their right mind would take the Redskins this weekend against one of the best teams if not the best team in football....? The Giants have been stellar on the road...and yet are given a measley 3 points when this line opened against a Skins team with a QB who cannot for the life of him throw the ball when he needs to...the line has jumped a half point since it opened....65 percent plus is guaranteed on the Giants side of the action....and these books are content and comfortable laying 3½ points with a team owning the NFL's best road record.....lol....sure...I buy that...

Atlanta Falcons @ San Diego Chargers

Line - Chargers -4½

Yeah, I had em last week in a similar position and they lost...will I take this week against an equally difficult team to face in the Matt Ryan lead Atlanta Falcons....maybe....What I do know is that this line opened at 5 and dropped a full point over the course of the week....Dare I say the falcons are starting to get some respect in this league and rightfully so....who wouldn't like them here getting a field goal plus against Norv Turner....and the 2 loss in a row San Diego Chargers.....? I wouldn't...lol

The only game I cant quite figure out is the GB Carolina game. I completely agree with you on the other 2!.... however am unsure of a game where both teams stunk it up last week.....If I had to pick or bet that game I would go GB...the question is who is really supposed to win this game? Your probably right since Im a rookie (currently 5 wins 2 losses on the bets) only seeing my 2nd week of action but it will be interesting to see. Best of luck with your picks man! Im defenitely takin Washington on my first upset try!

Not so fast...Why would Vegas make a team with a losing record a 3 point favorite against an 8-3 team tied for the 2nd best record in the NFC.
Seems like the easy pick is Carolina and the points.

If i was going to bet Carolina, id bet them straight up on the ML, that game is not going to be decided by 3 points or less.

If i had to bet on the game, id probably go with GB at -3, If rodgers gets even the slightest bit of momentum going i think he will turn into the Hulk and be unstoppable.

I was thinking about putting Carolina in a teaser with the Bills.

6 point tease on the 2 teams wouldnt be bad at all, you get to throw the bill in there for what should be an easy win (pray) and you get a good amount of points to cover a couple bad plays. Thing i hate about teasers is ties dont push but thems the breaks.

You could also look into a 10 point 3 teams, then you get Bills +3, Panthers +13, and you can take like NYG or Colts for the 3rd team and get them on the + side. pay out is almost the same.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots

At 1st glance, the choice is simple. Cassel is comfortable, & The offense is in full swing...Pats should ride easy at home....so why 1 point? Opened at pk'em...and rose a full point during the week....60 percent action on the Pats side almost guaranteed....and yet several books stayed at 1 while others sit at 1½....I'm not even interested in a fix...as either team can win with or without the refs or idiot players......but I think I know who Vegas needs in this one...
