Serious question since I’m not a dr. If omicron is contagious but not deadly(25,000 cases in Africa with no deaths) why try and control it? Why not let it go and let people get it and develop immunity? Especially for those who won’t get vaccinated? Pls no hate, I’m just curious.

We thought we were out of the woods, and that maybe we could enjoy the holidays, but we were wrong. Omicron is upon us, and it is the deadliest plague humanity has ever faced. You probably won't survive. And if you find yourself having any of these Omicron symptoms, you will definitely die. Sorry!
1) Heartburn: If you find yourself with heartburn after eating pizza or onion rings, you probably have Omicron. Been nice knowin' ya.
2) Sneezing: Omicron is a perfect killing machine designed to replicate itself by inducing sneezes in the host. Diabolical.
3) Your bones make that weird cracking sound when you get out of a chair: It's the end of the line for you.

The emergency department at the Rutland Regional Medical Center has been overwhelmed with asymptomatic folks. The Vermont Hospital Association says it’s hearing similar stories from other parts of the state. Hildebrant says the flood of asymptomatic people is preventing others in need of immediate care from getting it. He says by going to the emergency department, you are also potentially exposing yourself to someone with COVID who is very sick.
