like I need another reason to not play at my least favorite book !:missingte:missingte

I'm probably even responsible for the change ?

Used to be 10,000 points were worth $150 in Freeplay.... or $112.50 cash, using my parlay technique.

Now worth $61 in cash.... Thanks Cris, doesn't much matter, I dumped ya long ago !

et tu, VD ! :wink::ohno::lolBIG:

however...just a small thing but you can get actual gift cards emailed to you, or mailed to you for bonus points...sort of a way of getting paid with no cash, no fees, no paper trail, nothing....sort of wish you could take your balance out this way also (but at 100% of its value)...I just got a $100 Barnes and Noble.com (A place I use often for gifts and things for me so good as cash) Gift card for example for some bonus boints..just to try it out..came in 2 days via EMAIL..

Yeah, they also offer airlines miles with the miles rewards programs. Pretty cool for people who use these. 100,000 points for 25,000 miles, I think it is. So you wager 100 grand and you get a free airline ticket.

wiped out points

Bastards zeroed out all of my EARNED points. Claim I am not a recreational player. Great to be able to wipe out a bonus that has already been earned.

See Ya!

what exactly is the change, I didnt notice.

I always use these as I go along instead of saving them up, just in case I am excluded from the program, or the program rule changes.

You don't get freeplays anymore, you get about half the amount in straight cash.

You can also trade in your points for airline miles, junk gifts, gift cards...I think that's it.

Ill have to check if its the same with BETCRIS, may be different, I know it was in the past between BETCRIS/BOOKMAKER.

Still plenty of value in Betcris no matter what (for me anyway), those early CFL lines during the CFL season to me are golden, also other events such as olympics or whatever else are.

Its true that for standard bets, 90% of the time u can find a better line at matchbook, or other reduced shops, but ill always keep a few rupees at betcris for those golden eggs they offer every now and again

Great program unless you are unceremoniously removed from it for being "not a recreational player"? What kind of crap is that? They have a loyalty program but don't want to include people they classify as "diamond players". I was told, "We are not going to pay you to beat us". Lovely!

Yeah, maybe its because you bet bad lines on a regular basis and are consistently an a-hole.

hmm I never see errors and bad lines at bookmaker so I doubt he hits those...those bookmaker lines are so sharp it hurst..even when you think you are getting a good line by 1 point they usually win it..

nobody should be an assho** however, thats true..

they should honor bonus programs up to the time that they say no more bonus points however. that is classless..

If that's how you want to spin it. Actually at Bookmaker I don't bet bad #'s because they are one of the few books that PROPERLY reward players for pointing out bad #'s.

And if I am according to them "not a recreational player" I don't think it had anything to do with betting bad #'s (more so the new asshole I have ripped for them, not me being an asshole)

No longer much value there

I really don't want to reveal exactly what I was betting there. There were a series of high-value bets that could be made there, and then hedged at zero or positive EV, which resulted in a nice little almost riskless, income-producing portfolio. That, coupled with the income from the loyalty points, was enough to make it very worth while. I have no issues with cutting me off the bonus program, which is what they did, but then a couple days ago they decided to just ZERO out my already earned points. In my book, this is not right.

What is odd is that I was still getting offers and receiving deposit bonuses, even after getting cut off. And, I am still on the DSI loyalty program

No big deal. I had no intention of playing there much longer anyway.

Here is the Love letter they sent me

Curiosity got to me and I dug up the email that I was sent a while back. The part that gets me is this line:

"You are of course free to use the point balance that you have accumulated"

In fact, by zeroing out my existing points, they are not letting me do this. Not worth my time fighting over this, but be warned!

Mr. ######,
I AM WRITING TO ADVISE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THE CRIS COMPS PROGRAM AS OF THIS DAY BY MANAGEMENT: OUR PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR RECREATIONAL PLAYERS ONLY.
YOU ARE OF COURSE FREE TO USE THE POINT BALANCE THAT YOU HAVE ACCUMULATED BUT NO FURTHER POINTS WILL BE ISSUED IN FUTURE:
THANK YOU:
