You can add Moses Malone and Daryl Dawkins, the list ends pretty fast after that. The list of busts is alot longer. I am torn about this rule as its a rule to protect the owners from themselves. Drafting on "potential" usually keeps you in the lottery.
Kobe Bryant, Jermaine O'neal, Al Harrington, Rashard Lewis, Deshawn Stevenson, Tyson Chandler, Kendrick Perkins, Al Jefferson, Josh Smith, JR Smith, Martell Webster, Monta Ellis, Bynum --- Of course they are all not stars, but a bunch are and they all have had successful careers.
But my point being - who is to say these people on the bust list would have done better if they went to college. There are plenty of busts that went to college. Mike Dunleavy, Jay Williams, Haseem Thabeet, Sheldon Williams, Patrick Obryant, Joe Alexander, etc - the list goes on and on of college busts as well. Why don't we ban international players too? Look at Darko, Jan Vesely, roddy beabouis......
Always will be busts, let the owners do the research and the successful ones will draft the better players
