What could Bush have done differently? Sending more troops into the Afghanistan mountains gauranteed nothing except more dead US soldiers. They did try to send some special forces in and it went bad. They have a huge advantage when you drop soldiers into an unfamiliar mountainous area. It was wise not to send our boys to a certain death over this one Hitler. What could have been done differently?

"And there were plenty of landing areas for helicopters, had the Americans acted decisively. Al Qaeda escaped right out from under their feet."

These liberals did not even want us in Afghanistan. They claimed we'd need 10,000 body bags if we went in. It was a brilliant military plan to not put in many soldiers and using the locals to fight the majority of the ground war with our air coverage. And now they complain that we didn't have enough troops to capture OBL when they fukkin didn't even want us there in the first place. And if we would have dropped 1000's of troops into Tora Bora the left would have cried bogged down daily. These clowns are so predictable.

OK, so the Afghan warlord says after the fact this was so easy to do. Do you realize how vast the pakistani border is? How many soldiers would it have taken to seal of this mountainous area.
