I'll go out on a limb and predict the trend ends next year unless the Falcons become a miracle story.

That miracle story is in the process of being written as we speak.

The odds of this happening five straight years(last to first) in THIS mediocre division are/were less than 1000-1 ............

4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4...........and then throw in the fact the last place team has an easier schedule heading into the next year.

943-1

One billion to one.......LMFAO.

updating

2002 - 1st place Bucs, 4th place Panthers
2003 - 1st place Panthers, 4th place Falcons
2004 - 1st place Falcons, 4th place Bucs
2005 - 1st place Bucs, 4th place Saints
2006 - 1st place Saints, 4th place Bucs
2007 - 1st place Bucs, 4th place Falcons
2008 - ??????????????????

We dont know yet, but the Falcons are coming up out of nowhere.
Heard many people say they would be the worst team in the NFL this season. Some people predicted the Falcons to go 3-13. They are already 3-2.

We will see. History says they will pull this out.

You also have to throw in the part about no team in the NFC south has every had back to back winning seasons.

Thats also part of it.

plus its now happened 6 straight years. Add that to your equation.

And how do you come up with mediocore.
The NFC south is probably the 2nd best division in football right now.

The last five years, this division is the least intriging for areas outside of the markets/cities these teams are in.

Crap NFL fans in Tampa and Atlanta on top of that.........
