I don't think a soul believed a thing the guy said. That is probably why he didn't last very long. But thanks for the name, who could forget this short ugly Vietnamese guy waving hundred dollar bills surrounded by hot blonde chicks in bikinis on a yacht. Classic.
For those who are old enough to remember - how about
Dave Del Dotto
same kinda thing - with the same "results"
now we get
Carlton Sheets
and my fave of this all was some guy - around late 20s/early 30s - who paid for an infomercial on how to make money saying basically (and i am paraphrasing)
"You put a small ad in the newspaper telling people how they can make a lot of money - and you charge them something like $10 for it - and when they pay - you send them something telling them to do what you did - put an ad in the paper telling people they can make a lot of money if they send you $10 and you will tell thm how."
It was hysterical people would fall for this - but they did
and while on the subject of annoying people
Ron Popeil
is there ANYTHING the guy hasn't "invented" - remember "Spray on Hair"?
but i guess he has the last laugh for he is in his 70s-ish - filthy rich and married to some 20 or 30-something swimsuit model - and you know she loves him - and not just his money - just like Scarlett loves Shrink - and not just his money
