($3,060-$2,000) When we think of Baltime, we thinks of guys like Brian Roberts and his League leading .376 BA or his league leading 67 hits. We might even consider his .669 slugging pct.(2nd) Personally, I think his .413 BA vs right handers, or his .746 slugging pct. vs those same guys is what I think more of. Let's not let's forget that this young phenom also has 11 homeruns and 36 runs scored (2nd). But some of you might think of Lefty starter Erik Bedard with his (5-1, 2.08) record. But today's starter is another lefty by the name of Bruce chen (5-2, 3.63). In 28.1 Innings at home he's 3-1 with a 2.86 ERA. Opposing hitters are batting a measly .194 against him at Camden Yards. Chen has also won 4 of his last 5 decisions. His opponent today is the seattle Mariners. They just love gonig up againt Left handers like Chen. They are 1-8 vs left handers and AVG just 2.44 RPG. But 0-4 and 2.00 RPG on the road. The M's are hitting .219 vs lefties. In fact the 3-4-5 hitters are batting .207 vs lefties. That's Beltre, Sexson and Boone. Good luck Mariners. You'll need it!
