But tiz, why are all these globalist fucks now calling for a global economic governing power? They saw this coming and let it happen because it suited their goals for world domination.

My brother emailed me a response to this link, and I agree with his take on it and I have seen other people posting on this forum talking about how we are slowly but surely becoming a Socialist regime here in the good ole U.S.A....His response:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
These people are a little too paranoid for their own good. Greed and power are behind the proposed fed takeover of the economy. I think it is more misguided ideology in the wrong place and time rather than machiavellian plotting that is the means by which this is happening. Looking at the big picture, these actions are socialist in nature and the very antithesis of free market capitalism. It is a symptom of not just overly centralized power but of corruption. Unless people wake up and intervene we are slowly becoming more like the old Soviet Union over time. Needless to say to old Soviet Union failed for the same reasons, deficit spending, lack of production and negative trade balance, and a centralized planned economy keeping the ever more powerful and corrupt elite in power indefinitely. When the rich become too rich they become able to stifle the economy since stagnation keeps them at the top of the heap. This has happened before at the turn of the 20th century but anti-trust regulation and comittment to true capitalism smashed the corporate elites then. This time they may have learned their lessons and have compromised congress by financing the campaigns of both parties and therefore control the whole government. No laws or legislation will be crafted to stop them and in fact laws will be passed to facilitate their control and lock in their obscene wealth. They will use that wealth to buy congress and presidential administrations during the election process as they do now. Their cronies will be the advisors, lobbyists, and cabinet appointees who run the country. Since the new breed of corporate elites are globalists they are by definition traitors who have no compunction with ruining the foundations of the nation's economy so long as it benefits them. They forget the lesson of Cuba, however. By moving their production and assets overseas they risk an unstable government deciding to seize them simply because they can. That is just what nations will be doing to them when we reach a point when our nation is bankrupt and economy ruined by their actions so we cannot afford to send our military after them. Maybe then people will realize what they have done and hang them from the nearest tree, but by then it will be too late.

most didnt think Oregon State would beat USC or Mississippi beat Florida. Turns out they shouldnt have been underdogs in the 1st place. probably better examples, but thats my point. Public knows "nothing" and cnn is a big manipulative lie machine.

If you are to stupid to live within your means then you deserve not to be able to finance a house,car,etc.. we are in the mess because the majority of Americans are selfish assholes that are too dumb to think of the future consequences of their actions

Sadly, this is true for a lot of people in the western world. But it seems that in America it was made too easy to get credits and loans to indulge in their irresponsible behaviour.

The funny thing is that here in Germany politicians say the current crisis is proof that free market doesn't work and more government regulation is necessary when in fact, as I understand it, the American banks have actually not acted like in a free-market environment but took far greater risks than they normally would because the government encouraged them to hand out risky loans while, at least implicitly, promising to bail them out should things go wrong.

....hate to say it, but I agree with the Woolmeister here.

This problem/crises is the culmination of a combined series of events, good intentions gone bad, market mechanisms, and greed/selfishness, and yes the Fed has a hand in it, but we've all screwed the pooch by becoming a nation of over-extenders rather than savers.

Well, I left simple greed off the poll.

I think to put any blame on working class Americans is to miss the target altogether. We're not the ones that gave tax breaks to corporations to help them move high paying jobs overseas. People that bought a house a few years ago could afford it at the time, the cost of living was lower and people had higher paying jobs. If our leaders cared about the future of America they could have done things to prevent this catastrophe, rather than enable it. Most decisions made by our "representatives" are made at the behest of corporate lobbyists who represent the move towards globalisation and the decline of America. I think blaming Americans for the absolute corruption of our political process is absurd. Yeah we're apathetic and lazy but that doesn't excuse the people with real power who are destroying this country. The move towards a world government is real, and the current crisis greatly helps those who wish to slowly implement it, step by step. The next step is a global economic governing power, and I believe you will see that being created in the next few years. The world government will be controlled by bankers and European royal families who wish to make Americans their slaves. If you can't see that happening right before your eyes, maybe you just aren't looking close enough.

apathetic and lazy can destroy our country faster than any evil conspiracy or whatever you are talking about

The conspirators nurture and encourage apathy.
