I am posting what I have to say in this thread for no particular reason, but imo it applies in any and all political threads in this section.
Anyways imo one of the biggest reasons which I believe that Trump will not be re-elected is for the simple reason that the majority
the American public simply will not accept a POTUS who believes he is 100% of what he does is right and that anyone who disagrees with
him is wrong.
Along the same lines, I believe that the American Public as a whole frowns about Trump's bashing many highly respected people
who dare to offer any kind of criticism.
For example, just consider the very honorable John McCain who he bashed right up until his death and today with the very highly
respected on both sides of the aisle, Colin Powell because he says he is not going to vote for Trump.
And that is just for starters-just think for example of Jim Mattis and now Mike Esper and what he said about them.
Think of his press conferences where he blows off any reporter with insults who dares to ask a relevant question which he considers
a criticism of him-this applies especially to women and those who are of a minority group.
Think of the members of his staff including doctors who were fired for disagreeing with him although the ALLEGED reasons
given had nothing to do with the REAL reasons.
If you don't want to think of specific people, then simply think of his overall know-it-all attitude towards the Coronavirus and
his disregard for the opinions like the some of the most highly respected and highly qualified physicians and their opinions in the country
unless of course they agree with him.
If the 109,000 resultant deaths from the Virus mean anything, in retrospect it is quite obvious that he should have listened a bit
more to folks who are a million times more qualified than he is!!
I could go on, but hopefully I have made my points..
In short we are a great nation with many objective and sincere people who have a strong sense of what is right and wrong in life
in general and especially as it regards the overall psyche and personality of a POTUS.
Couple with that with his 20,000 lies and history of racism, and I simply refuse to believe that the majority of the American
Public(and taking into account the Electoral College) will re-elect this man.
