NJ would be war and probably a losing one for the Leafs. Total goals scored in a six or seven game series between those two teams would be about 12.

Ottawa is irreparably psychologically damaged vs. Toronto. Leafs would take the series in 5 or 6.

n: dont know, sorta think ottawa reminds me of islander teams which kept coming up short then finally got it together to win some cups. also think nice story-line if sens win conference. isles will rue day they sent chara up there - if they dont already!

Bobby--

Logic-stats-dont mean squat this year

It is D-E-S-T-I-N-Y 2003 baby!!!

And Neilm is correct---Ottawa???

Dont make me laugh---they play like a team full of Don Knotts--the shakiest under achievers in the West.

NJ???--they have had their moment in the sun...

Now who knows the odds the Leafs are getting RIGHT NOW to win the Cup? Put me down for a dime

We don't rue the Chara trade but we sure as hell rue some of those other trades, like two or three of them which cost us then-future stars...Bertuzzi, McCabe, Brewer, Luongo, and, in making the Luongo trade, then drafting DiPietro, Heatley and/or Gaborik. I feel sick

You mean you Islander fans aren't pleased with Milbury's handiwork?

He got Trevor Linden and only had to give up Bryan McCabe, Todd Bertuzzi and a draft pick.

I made three future bets to win the cup before the season:

Colorado 7/1
Dallas 28/1
Washington 35/1

Still like 'em all. Toronto will crash and burn in the first round.

Shame on you jofl--I thought Norwegians were more savvy than that--good luck on your futures but as a saver you better get one down at 16-1 on the Leafs cause they are gonna be drinking champagne from Lord Stanleys goblet in a few months!!!!

Scooby-

Hey man--you guys have won a truckload of Cups since 67 and all we want is one

Last night Leafs spanked the Blackhawks 3-1 and were helped by some dumb penalties by Theo Fleury--wazzup with this guy anyway???

Saturday marks the beginning of the Leafs run to the Cup when they take on the Senators and Gary Roberts returns to the line up--

They will beat them soundly!!!!!

Dont understand your last post--but if you can get a future bet down--16-1 is the price--and a nice price tonight to beat the Senators!!!

What does it take to win the Stanley Cup??

We saw prime evidence of it last night when with less than a minute left the Leafs capitalized on a mistake and beat the Senators 2-1.

Just the start of a push that will see them sucking back the vino from the silver goblet in June

16-1 to win it all---get in on it!!!
