The lady at the WESTERN UNION , I know we all have a funny story regarding WESTERN UNION

Its always ammused me when I go to a grocery store or the local check cashing center where the dreaded WESTERN UNION location is...

My thought process is always this , I look at the mega-wad of 20`s

I`m about to send off to Jorge Lopez of Nicaragua

Sometimes both my pockets will be bulging with wads of freshly printed cash, the bills kind of sticky as I count them off in groups of 1000..
Finally the clerk has all the money counted you hear that Western Union transaction being processed, you glance at the clock, maybe even behind you as those check cashing joints can be pretty seedy

, the last thing you want is to get help up with 5 grand in your pocket

After what seems an eternity the clerk hands you your ticket with the control number on it, now its just a phone call and a confirmation away from action....

I think I`ve done this procedure over 500 times in the last 5 years

One time I went to the same location for like a week straight getting large payouts

, I know the woman thought I was a drug lord or something.. You know they wonder who the hell were exchanging money with in these third world countries LMAO

I may be the 'whitest' human being alive , so when I`m sending money to Manuel Sanchez in Belize , trust me she knows its not a relative

On the rare occasions I send Western Union, I also feel funny sending money to some Latin yahoo in Jamaica even though it's only $100 or less. I keep fearing they will ask me who this person is. They haven't yet.

Great subject> I always go to the same place and send to about 7 different people in the week. The people at the store must think I am selling drugs or something. 1 lady asked me who I was sending money to i said my aunt. The lady at the store was from Antigua, where I was sending the money to, talk about strange.

I have practically choked and killed Western U reps when they screw up the transfers. They used to ask me all the phucking time if colones was ok or if I wanted it in US dollars and i never knew the answer. One time I said the wrong thing and it caused a big phucking hassle with the sportsbook.

I have had some people ask me what it's for but I just change the subject. They always like to collect the money before they go to the computer, you ever notice that? Makes me wonder if they think that I will run away or have the money picked up right away. I guess that once they send it, then it can be picked up, but it can't be picked up w/out the control #.

There have been some times when they didn't have the green form and they refused to send it...there have been at least a few times when I would have beaten up one of those clerks.

When they count the money though, it does feel like a drug deal. Sometimes the guy says "ok man, good sh*t" or something kinda gangsta to let me know that he knows it is an underground transaxn.

There is nothing worse then when they start asking questions. You've been doing this forever and now all of a sudden they need to know how you know this person and why your sending money.

Another problem with Western Union`s here in Maryland, alot of the W U outlets are closed or close early...I can`t tell you how many times I have had to drive around frantically seaching for one thats open...

Once I went to this gas station, that had a Western Union in it

The ASSHOK fully dressed with laundry on his head and could barely speak any English at all, took forever to do the transaction

GODDAMN I knew this money was doomed....

I knew he cursed it, sure enough I get home, make the call and the stupid illegal alien mispelled the recipients name

I was livid....I didn`t even get my original play in it was a disaster....Its always something when you go to Western Union, its never easy NEVER!

Sometimes it is easy. However, there are times when I am in a rush (10 minutes to get the play in) and I just KNOW that the guy is gonna be too slow...you can always tell by how long he stares at the form.

Another breed of Western U employees is the guy who doesn't wanna do it cuz it is too much of a hassle. Typically this is at the grocery store..and the punk will say that the machine is down. I have actually called these guys on their bs and contacted the General Manager or Dist Mgr.

If the printer is not working, that could fuvk up the whole transaction.

Sending money Western Union is a good way to pick up women. Find a dumpy location, preferably a check cashing place. They don't pay much and there's usually some decent, trashy women working there. If you're next and the fugly clerk calls you just say you have to redo the paperwork and wait for a human looking one. Make small talk with them and tell them you're doing offshore banking and they'll think you're somebody. Who cares? You're trying to get laid. Go about a half hour before they close and then invite her out for a drink or something.
I've gotten some good, no strings attached sex and a few real good parking lot hummers from Western Union transactions.

you mean the currency? I don't really know, I think that if u are sending to CR they pick it up in colones, not sure.

what a great topic>> I hate when the person doesn't know what the hell they are doing and you tell them it is an international and they still don't know how to do it. I had 1 old lady ask me how I knew about western unions and I told her that 1 summer, I used to work @ a western union. I hardly ever send $$$ in my name ever. I went to 1 check cashing place and this ahole lady made me fill out a form, she said I picked up too much money it was like 1800. I told her the money was for my tution, from my uncle. She was a total ahole. I also hate going into a grocery store to pick up less than 600 and they tell me they don't have the money to cash the check. I said to them, this grocery store doesn't have more than 500 bucks. Wtf kind of store is this>> I really hate dealing with these 6 dollar an hour aholes!!!!!
