Imagine play stoppages for the first half -- no music bells, no whistles, no dance teams, no music, no videos

I think Id like to attend a game like that.

The motivation was to allow fans to "experience the game in its purest form," according to a message posted on the scoreboard.

Sounds interesting, I would be willing to watch a game like that. Went to the LAC/HOU game last week and every deadball there is music, dancers, someone mini contest on the court. It does make it interesting for the casual fan but it did get annoying. Felt distracting.

Was at the Lakers/Clippers game over the weekend. Sound went out for about 10min. It was great! No music, just the announcement on made basket. You could hear the squeaky shoes, a little muffled chatter from the floor. Of course the fans, but it was a great way to watch the game. I wish they were all played this way. Assuming tech difficulties, as once it came back on it was non-stop for the rest of the game.

Nice break for the TV watchers as well, not having to hear 30-60 seconds of the worst songs ever made. Turn down for what?

Maybe the Knicks should try something new like putting the ball thru the hoop more often.

I went to a Mavs game about a month ago and there is non stop music. I couldn't believe they actually played music during play time when the game is gong on. Ridiculous.
