Was thinking a bit after I read some of the responses to my nba thread.

The juice can really be deadly. Most lines are what 10 percent juice? So even if you win 60 percent of your bets the best you can do is break even. You will be up only 7 percent if you are one of the great cappers and can hit 67 percent of your bets.

This leads me to beleive that you can only win by doing one of two things.

1. Increase your wagering amounts on games that you feel are the most favorable.

or

2. Win over 60 percent of your wagers. (Very difficult)

Because -110 is 10 percent juice, meaning if you hit 50 percent of your bets you would actually only be getting 40 percent in return.

Then you will still be down 7 percent because you paid 10 percent in juice.

wager 100 games at -110

win 53 = +5300
lose 47 = -5170

Result = +130

Ok take this example.

You make 4 wagers.

BET A -110 $1000 To win $900 -WIN
BET B -110 $1000 To win $900 -WIN
BET C -110 $1000 To win $900 -LOSS
BET D -110 $1000 To win $900 -LOSS

So you started with 4000.00

2 of your bets won and two of your bets lost, giving you $3800.00 total. So even though you hit 50 percent of your wagers you still lost $200.00

It would all depend on how you bet it..

If you risk 110 to win 100 it would be different than if you risked 100 to win 90 factoring in the juice.

I was using figures of 1000.

Does not matter how you slice it.. You still lose money if you hit 50 percent of your bets.
