barry attitude goes back to the bowe hollyfield 2 fight when him and his buddy maurice lucas asked to join us in our suit at the fight. i told him to go **** off with his buddy and smoke his cigs somewhere else, and get a second job at mickey D so that he could afford to buy his own. a couple of years later i also bought his house that was for sale in Bear Creak for a couple of mil under what he was asking, than laughed at his ass for being such a piss poor business man, and being in such bad financial shape after his divorce. So it more about not liking anyone that has more money or smarter than him

I must say something here with all of this Barry bashing. I think that people should take him for what he is and that is a great ball player, that's all. Weather you like him or not I am sure that we all can agree on that one. Barry is Barry and that is all, he puts on no fronts for anyone he is the same way all the time. I do not get the feeling that he is one of those phoney guys that plays up to the press and when the camera is not around he is totally different. Most of these guys that are in the spotlight are that way and when the camera goes away they are jerks.
And as far as him hating white people, well guys his first wife was white, so I guess that makes his kids half white that he had with her. Again just take him for the great player he is, and enjoy watching him on the field of play 'cause it will be a long time before any of us see anyone with his talents.

mudman - Good points. I love watching Barry on the field but would rather he kept his mouth shut off the field. It sure would be nice if he hustled a little more too.
As far as Garrett Anderson is concerned....I don't think that guy has smiled even one time in his life. He looks as if he hates his job, and everyone associated with it. Strange personality.
