Most definately.

I would still consider the Burger Palace off-limits though. I did however have a GREAT swordfish dinner at the IP's seafood restaurant. LOTS of good eatin' all around the IP as well...

Ellis Island brews it's own Rootbeer mmmm......

You get a $5 matchplay coupon everytime you eat there. It is attached to the placemat in front of you.

Eat a $4.95 steak and win your matchplay and you made yourself 5 bucks.

Only in Vegas man.:dancefool :toast:

No sign Dante but there is a tour company that points out the intersection on their haunted tour.

It was right after a Tyson fight at the MGM :Sad Face:

Ellis Island is behind Bally's. From IP walk to the Barbary Coast.Take a left past the Westin and the next light take a right it is right there. Between the 7/11 and a hotel. If you walk stop at the Westin, they have some low limit games $1 and great sign up bonuses.

You guys really plan on eating a $4.95 steak while you are in vegas? With all the money everyone here wins?

I'm pretty much broke, but will be living it up in vegas!

WharfRat,My main goal about asking about Ellis Island was that I wanted to get thoughts on how the place was and how the food is because I heard it was a good place to go eat at from a local who was flying back to Vegas from Cleveland the last time I was there and told me to try it out and I figured the locals on RX would help out.I could care less where the hell you go to eat at in Vegas. All I was trying to do is gather info thats all and I heard the IP food isnt that great so Im planning out where to go when out in Vegas.Gravy

Who eats while in Vegas? All it does is make you tired & ruin what is probably a $50-100 buzz that you've drank.

I'm still trying to figure out where & what I ate last time I was there....and I'm coming up blank.

First of all, there was no Dom involved-but the IP did bust our the champagne when the final table was winding down, and God knows that nerve boy was all over it.

I honestly can't imagine not drinking-I have that much fun doing it, but it does have consequences. I have the utmost respect for anyone who can stop.

WC,
got your note today at work, I'm glad someone went in there and asked for the Green Doberman and didn't get a crazy look for once.

Ellis Island has long been an after-shift favorite of casino workers. The grave steak and eggs, and the 4.95 steak dinner are great deals. They also have rather cheap microbrews available all hours as well. It's a good pit stop between the Strip and the Hard Rock (if you are insane enough to make that walk in August Vegas heat).
Might make for a good late-night grub after Club Paradise for Dante and his crew as well.

The Burger Palace is improved as well and I eat there frequently (even the salads Illini). It's about equivalent to a McDonalds or Burger King in reality. I won't comment on the buffet, though I eat there every day I work as well.

As we get closer, we can likely put together a list of restaurants within walking distance of the Bash that can cater to everyone's needs.
