I had to look twice when I saw this line. And then I looked again. How many times have we said "the wrong team is favored". This is the first time this year, I honestly believe the wrong team is favored and not by just a little. The 10 cent line has Milwaukee favored at -154 and the dog San Francisco getting PLUS 144.

Even with this being a road game for the Giants, they still should be the favorite. Just look at these numbers. The Giant's are hot, winning 5 of their last 6 games and the Brewers are just the opposite, losing 5 of their last 6 games. That's usually enough for me to find a play but look at the pitching matchup for this game. CAIN for the Giants has won 7 in a row and is 9-1 for the season with an ERA of just 2.28. And this guy is a dog!!! Granted, there is nothing wrong with Yovani Gallardoy, who is 7-4 with an ERA of just 3.00 but when is the last time you have seen the second lowest ERA in the league getting PLUS 144.

The HOT team with the HOT pitcher vs a team in a slump. What am I missing here? This looks like a gift even thought I know there are no gifts in betting. But there are mistakes and it looks like the linemakers made a big mistake with this line. BTW, I'm an A's fan and I hate the Giants, but my money dosen't care who I play, only that I play the team that looks like the winner. So, now I have to root for the team I hate, but it's OK if we all make some money on them.

PLAY SAN FRANCISCO PLUS 144 WITH CAIN.

Wow. I didn't realize SF was that big of a dog. I know SF's offense is dogshit, but Cain is a beast. I actually like betting on Cain more than Lincecum. Tim gets all the pub, but I think Cain is every bit as good as he is, and you can get much better lines when Cain pitches.

I think SF's offense against Gallardo will keep me off the game though. I think the under would be a great bet. Gallardo vs. Cain should be a pitcher's duel IMO.

It will be "hot & humid" in Milwaukee tonight; the roof will probably be open; no wind, just "muggy".

I see a 4/3 game either way.

It is because SF is the "sucker play of the day
then after the game, he had to tell us how happy he was
Well, he was right this time although I don't appreciate anyone coming into my thread just to say they were happy I was wrong. Just our luck Cain picked tonight to have his worst game after 7 wins in a row. Meaning if the same situation happens again, I would make the same play.

Basically, when i see a juicy pick like that I think its a trap. I either stay away or bet the other side. Everyone who see's Matt Cain and +145 against a team with a lower RPI will want to jump on it. I can't say there is fixing going on in baseball but games like this one make me wonder.

Nothing to wonder about.
As I have mentioned several times in the past, Gallardo is the best pitcher in the league nobody has ever heard about.
Brewers have better sticks, and Gallardo has every bit the talent as Cain.
If anybody 'capped the game, Gallardo is unhittable at home, with a home eye-popping ratio of 1.09, and a BA against of .164

Why not? If you had won this play we would have had to hear about how smart you are so take the loss like a man. The only reason I gave you shit was that your easy play happened to be on your home team. That would qualify you as a HOMER!!!!!

P.S. Good luck with your plays today(I really don't like to see people lose)

Do us both a favor and read the last two lines of my first post and then tell me why all the shit from you. Did you have a problem understanding what I said.

Had you posted your feelings about the game and the result in YOUR OWN THREAD, or even someones thread who posted Milwaukee as their play, no one including me would have a problem with that. I don't think I'm alone saying anyone who goes into someones thread to "knock" their play will have a hard time being respected here.

I have Cain on my fantasy team and sat him this week. Just a feeling he was going to get a little roughed up in MIL. after having 7 or 8 above average starts. I am sorry you lost but as I always say--------when it looks too easy.................GO THE OTHER WAY!! Vegas doesn't give money away very often.
