Do you have a link for your tripling the debt claim?

Ofcourse not. As i used to say when i was in the political forum, when i say something its just like it came from the mouth of a Democrat. It is because i said it is and therefore no proof is needed. It shouldnt be hard to find articles saying that GWB increased the debt by 5 trillion and the other guy has run it up to over $17 trillion. But since we dont have an actual budget and we are printing something like $90 billion fake dollars a month the actual answer comes straight from the mouth of the #2 Democrat. "At this point what difference does it make?".......also said by the Smiths circa 1983

and incumbents get reelected 90+ percent of the time despite the fact 80+ percent of the people think they suck

they rely on low information voters, beat them like a drum and it works like a charm

not sure how you can defend the beltway fog, but yet you do

Actually the ones that get re-elected over and over and over poll very well in their districts. Vitt has brought this up before but when you ask people how they feel about congress they generally poll them negatively but if asked about their own congressmen then they poll them favorably. That is why they get elected over and over, not because people think they suck. Most people LIKE their own congressmen unfortunately...

I know this, that's about name recognition and money

the disconnect is people thinking congress sucks but they like their own congressman, as if he or she is not part of congress and he or she is not part of what they think sucks

thats because they see the guy at the Memorial Day parade and they went to school with the guys niece, etc. what they don't realize is that he still is a scum bag who would sell them all out for a chance to profit on insider knowledge of a construction project or a TIF

IS that the math you want to use.
So basically what you are saying is the debt was zero when GWB took and he brought it up to 5T then Obama comes along and runs it up to 17T over triple.
Thats interesting math.
If we are going to use that math I guess that means GWB 5,000,000,000,000th the debt.

Yep. I happen to like my republican congressman very much. Known him for years and he's a solid guy.

Plus, the party in control will redistrict in ways that keep the elected official in office.

come on man

Maybe these numbers will help some understand.

Those making 15k or less made up 13 percent of the population in 2008 but just 6 percent of the voters.

Those making 200k made up 3.8 of the population but 6 percent of the vote....and exit polls have that going 52/48 obama.

You guys have to look at the actual numbers and not the line of minorities they show at some polling place on tv.

You guys really need start looking at who votes and who doesn't.

Im not gonna keep going over this.

yeah...like all those people who "didn't" vote when Obama beat a heavily favored Hillary Clinton in the 2008 democratic primary. And I am talking specifically about the votes coming in from North Carolina and South Carolina during that primary. Do me a favor and look that up then report back with your findings...

So, i should do the work for ya? No thanks.

I provided the info on the general election....it is only now that i see it is the democratic primary in the south that has you upset.

I posted the numbers and that pretty much says it all. Let me know what you find in south dakota or wherever your issue is.

Well, I already know the answer so I don't need to look it up. The 2008 democratic primary doesn't have me upset...it's just an example that proves my point

Your point is alot of poor people voted for obama in north and south carolina dem primary? I'm not sure what that proves but if you feel like that made your argument....then that's ok by me.

if the entitlement crowd don't vote then, why do the liberals promise to give them stuff?

of course they vote, and in large numbers

Romney won every income demographic > 50k, which mean Obama won the non-taxpaying and the low income demographics by large amounts

some people are just living a delusional life, pretending they represent something on the political spectrum they don't represent.

I don't care if you have one political view or another, good and smart people can and do disagree, just accept your base for what it is and stop trying to spin who they are
