those stupid small "suited" connecting cards every1 raves about. no matter if its raised or i see cheap the flop is ALWAYS a miss. ive stolen some small pots rarely by betting into the flop but either raised or called which slows you down. even hands like q/j or j/10 suited arent worth a fuck as for as the flops ive seen with them. ya get small suits the flop comes k k q with about 4 or 5 people in it. you get suited q/j or j/10 the flop comes 8 6 3 with maybe 1 spade and same amount of peeps. i raise with those cards also and called or reraised alot of times. they are just hands that drive me "nuts!"

You know you can fold them right?

Depending on what kind of tourneys you're playing those type of hands aren't even worth giving a look at. In turbos I don't think twice about folding those.

You play the man first... then you play the cards. Q 7 is my favorite hand and nobody knows why--it's just that in games I've played it shows up on the board the most. You can raise with ANY hand. It doesn't have to be a power pre-flop hand. After the flop, you can still outplay your opponent and hope he missed.

JP is right, play the man.
IF I can limp in with suited connectors, I'll do it everytime, never for a price though, if it's under 9-10.

I agree with 'Jesus' Ferguson, I hate Q-A.

funny thing is playing these small suited connectors at CAKE has been more beneficial. of course theres less people and i'm able to see alot more flops but hitting 2 pair or even a straight seem more commom since i been playing there.

at house games those cards are what makes you money you sneak into a big pot with 2-3 people nail trips or catch a two pair etc etc and no one expects it and they walk right into it.

i have no idea online i gave that up around 1st semester at college when i bored found out i rather be bored with a laptop instead of bored pissed off and without a laptop

There are a lot of situations. You can never say "never". I shoved all-in last night with 72os...That would be a sure candidate for a "never" but in the situation it was the thing to do.
Since im usually looking for hands to play i play them often. Mainly in late position to steal with. Im raising anyway but the SC gives me a decent shot to hit a hand if i get played back at....
In early position i raise like i would with any other hand. Say i have 56s ...Im in EP raise get 1 caller...Flop comes A74..Now im freerolling. but if it came A92....I lead out for 3/4 pot and what can the guy call with? If he's got an A in a small game he shoves, If he has a set he calls and 75% he folds cus he aint got shit...No way he doesnt put me on an A so its ideal for me.
Lets go back to the A74 flop...I can ck this to him like the A scared me. Now he bets and i shove....What can he call with ? Well from his point of view maybe AK or 77 44 but other than that now he's fucked....but say he has AK or even a set, if he does call im not a huge dog at all...
So actually for me they are played just like any other hand PF....its after the flop where the action or lack of takes place...
