I hear ya just think Sweetnes was the best of all time no doubt in my mind.
If he needed to jump 8 feet in the air to get a td he did it.
If he needed to barrel guys over he did it
and if he needed to just glide past people with grace he did it all!!!!!

He looked great with a good offense and a fast track in the Silverdome, but he pretty much blew in the playoffs and never won a damn thing. Flashiest RB ever, yes. Best RB ever? no.

If any of today's youngsters would have seen the day that He ran for 6 TD's and the manner in which He made all the defenders look like grade school kids...... Well I guess nobody really cares to see a real class act like Gayle was ! Greatest running back ever and I don't really care about how short his career was !

Little Joe Washington of OU was the most exciting RB that I ever saw. I got to meet and talk to him at a celebrity tennis tournament in Vegas back in 1983..He was one of the nicest and most down earth athleties that I've ever met.
