Navy vs. Wake Forest @ ESPN RFK Stadium, Washington D.C.
Ok fellas here is my first bowl post! I Don't usually like taking both ends of a game but this one is screaming out at me. First off, the game is being played in our nations capital and the weather looks to be a non factor. I look for this to be a low scoring affair as Navy runs and controls the clock with their rushing attack. Wake has no running game so the will rely on their passing attack and with 16 picks on the season for Navy we could see a turnover or 2 here. With an 84th ranked passing game and a banged up, non existent running game I don't see Wake scoring more than 2 or 3 field goals here. Also, earlier this year on the road Navy beat Wake 24-17.
The only thing that scares me is Navy should be giving the points here.
take Navy +3 (10 units)
I always get overinflated totals from the bookmaker (he says everyone plays "overs") plus there is good value in this defensive struggle!
and Under 43.5 (4 units)
Good Luck!
