Holly Moses Conan...I may just recommend you to the DOJ. It would have taken that sorry bunch two years to come up with that much information.

You know, looking back, I bet the Tennessee folks who ran off Fulmer wishes they had waited another four years. Kiffin and especially Dooley almost destroyed the football program.

You'll have to speak with their parole officers on that one BD.

By the way, the total points scored for each school/player that is in
the columns with the black background is viewable if you swipe your
mouse over the black cells you want to see while you hold down the
button under your index finger. My f*ckup.

PS... this may mean nothing but we'll see soon enough.
Arizona State was in a state of complete disarray when
Dennis Erickson left and Todd Graham took the reigns. They
were in last place or nearly last in penalty stats in all of CFB.
Graham did a complete 180 with the Sun Devils in that regard.
His first year as ASU's HC his Sun Devils actually led the Pac-12
in fewest penalties. Before his first season as HC started, I
actually dared him to do something about it and low and behold,
that's exactly what he did. Not that my challenge to Graham
necessarily had anything to do with it, but the mere fact that he
pulled it off still amazes me. Knowing that ASU was something
like a jungle in a civilized society before Graham got there is a
testament to the power that man yields and isn't afraid to use.

Now ASU seems to be climbing back up the list of problem children.
I think it may be genetic.

Just noting a few things that caught my eye...

Among them is the low number in conference standings (The Paul Dee Memorial Award) that the
Pac-12 teams have amassed thus far into the year, a total of a mere 14 points for the entire
conference up to now. I can't explain why the players have been up to not much of anything
throughout the whole conference. Compare that number to Auburn as a single team that leads
all of CFB with 44 points at this time.

I wonder if the legalization of marijuana on the entire west coast has something to do with it?
Even then, smoking pot isn't such a heinous transgression to begin with and the penalty points
would reflect that. Fulmer cup rules state that a player must be cited for a violation for it to
count against him which makes most of the conference exempt from marijuana violations. Yet
as I pointed out, we're not talking about a big number where marijuana is involved.

I think Michigan should get a honorable mention here. Their football ops director, and close friend of HC Jim Harbaugh, Jim Minick, was so drunk that he refused a breathalyzer and was determined by Police Officers to be too drunk to take a field sobriety test. Minick has since pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
