Notre Dame has a good team, but I believe them being in the top four is weak. If they played in the SEC west, they would have two losses minimum. LSU currently has a schedule at Florida, Georgia, Miss State and now Alabama all in a row (with a bye week). I would like to see Notre Dame survive that without losses. Notre Dame can schedule a cupcake, and then play a good team, and then do the cupcake thing again and they play a good team. They don't have to put in the week after week grind like other conferences. Let's see them at the very least get in their basketball conference with Clemson and the other teams in the ACC. I don't respect a team not playing in a conference.

As long as you only have 4 teams you will never have a team like UCF given a shot to make the playoffs. Unless they move to a major conference or something. It isn't the same as college basketball. UCF could(probably won't) go undefeated back to back years and have been highly ranked last year and will still almost definitely not make the playoffs. Somethng is seriously wrong with that

They need schedule a big name school and play them at that schools field. But no, they expect the big name school to come to their place. Lol

every year this always turns into a cluster fuck. notre dames schedule year in year out is ridiculous. they go undefeated then they are in, really no exceptions. even if fsu and usc are down this year they book tough games and if they are unbeaten they are in.
i dont think bama or clemson will lose but crazy things happen.
the top 10 will shake up a lot after this week anyway.
really comes down to what happens in the big 10 and the sec. so much more to play in those conferences to sort it all out.

The only way they expand to 8 teams is if the SEC keeps getting 2 teams in the playoff. If LSU wins this weekend, it will happen again.

I thought they did away with BCS.:think2:

We're already expecting NOT to get invited to the CFP. Sux.

However the schedule is backloaded with teams with good records so we're hoping that will help our cause.

UCF has 5 games left in the season (assuming they win their next 4) and will be favored in all of them.

We have scheduled many home and away series vs P5 teams. Actually a bunch of these games were scheduled when those P5 teams were having good seasons or coming off good seasons. Just stinks that these teams werent having good seasons.

Games vs GT last season (bad record) and UNC this season (bad record) were cancelled b/c of hurricanes.

They have future games vs Stanford, UNC, and Louisville and play a P5 team every year for the next 7 years.

The statement saying that UCF will ONLY play a P5 team is false. However, if they play a team on the road, then they expect to have a home game with that team as well

Please stop complaining about ND strength of schedule.

Alabama has an easier SOS
So does Ohio State.

I agree ND would get crushed by Bama, but Alabama only has 2 or 3 tough games scheduled every year IMO.
