What's up fellow degenerates? I'm new to this forum, and hope to be a longtime, future member! Let's get to it!
Week 1 is in the books, and now Vegas has a little bit better of a feel for the lines.
The goal for me is pretty simple....Don't lose all my money!!!
YTD: 0-0
Week 2 action:
-Packers -2 1/.9
Rodgers and McCarthy are money against Zimmers Volkings. Their only loss was....ON PURPOSE! To not have to play Seattle first round last year...that's just superior intelligence folks. Even if Bradford starts, the Packers have too much firepower and are healthy. I understand the new stadium, Volkswagons going to be pumped up, etc, etc, etc, and while I think the Vacuums keep this close, the Packers win by at least a field goal!
-Bengals/Steelers under 48.5 1/.95
In the Tomlin/Rothcheeseburger/Lewis/Ginger era 83% of these games go under 48. I realize how great the Steelers looked last week, but, I mean, it was against the Redskirts highschool defense. You better expect the typical, "we win this game with smarts and patience" Bengals/Steelers matchup.
-Chargers -3 1/.87
Jags are absolutely horrendous on the road. HORRENDOUS. The defense will be stellar at some point...but not in week 2....30,000 miles from home...against one of the best qbs in the business. Chargers by DD. Don't expect Haley to let off the gas this time around.
-Chiefs +2.5 1/1
-Chiefs ML 1/1.3
Superior coaching is what this league is all about. There's talent everywhere in Houston, but KC will execute better. Reid will continue to make the guy coaching the Texans his bitch.
-NO/NYG over 53 1/.9
Anyone remember last years game? Did you also know that in the 5 times Brees and Eli have met the total has gone over 73 four times! NO has also only scored less than 30 in these games one time. Eli will put up bigger numbers this week at home, against this charmin-soft Saints D, and because he'll be playing from behind. I have this game at 96-72 Saints.
-Nawleans +4.5 1/.9
-Nawleans ML 1/1.8
Brees and Shawnie boy are the Eli Manning to Tom Brady but to Eli Manning. NO takes this straight up. +4.5 for insurance.
Good luck to everyone! I'll be back to add more!
