I stayed at the Excaliber Hotel recently for two days. When I stayed there, there was porn in the room, which I did not order. I live in Los Angeles, the porn capital of the world. I do not need to go to Vegas to watch porn.I ignored the porn.Imagine my surprise when after checking out when I found out that I was charged for a porn package to the tune of 30 plus dollars.They also gouged me on my long distance calls.The main reason I was upset is because there were tons of little kids at the hotel. I myself have taken my kids to Vegas, when they were small.I do not want children exposed to porn.I will not be staying there again.The next time I check in to a vegas hotel,I will tell them: I am not paying for no damn porn!
Excaliber is about as low down the foodchain as you can go in the way of big strip resorts.

Their parent company, Mandalay Bay, tried something similar on me. I was staying at the Mandalay for one night for a conference and was in the room maybe 7 hours. I never turned the TV on. And on my bill, slipped under the door for "express checkout" was a $11.95 charge for a movie. I had to stand in line for 10 minutes downstairs. Then I told the lady what my problem was and she says "no problem sir, I will take care of it" and ten seconds later a new bill is printing out. Her attitude made me think they did it on purpose! It wasn't "let me check" or "are you sure". It was an attitude like "your only one of about 200 people I have had to do this for". Could have been a system error, but think about it. I was there in the convention season and all these business travellers aren't paying their charge anyways. I bet a lot of them just grab the receipt and put it away without looking. Or they might look, but if the line is 15 minutes or longer they may decide it isn't worth fighting. Who knows, maybe it is a sneak corporate policy, but I was thinking what a rip off.
Excaliber kicks ass,,has always been easy to get comped for rooms. Paid out over 10 million I think it was to someone who hit a jackpot while I was there last time. As far as long distance goes, I think just about all the hotels gouge on this now. So they made a mistake for 30 plus dollars on a porn package so lets just say excaliber hotel are scumbags as if no other hotels in vegas or anywhere else ever make mistakes. At least in vegas you can go hit a table for a few seconds and make that 30 back and more before leaving.
