Was too young to watch them live but this is one of my favorite songs by them. I just found this rare live version by The Doors...hope you enjoy it as much as I have:toast:

Jim Morrison was one weird dude. Song was one of my faves back in the day. Thanks for the post - too bad it doesn't play The End until the end.

Lame attempt at humor on my part? Video is over after 9:58, but song is still going. Doesn't seem to show the entire song. I was thoroughly enjoying the song, was disappointed when it didn't play until the end.

I don't know if they're still touring or not but Robbie Krieger had a band with his son as the lead singer and he sounded exactly like Jim Morrison and all they sang were Doors tunes. I saw them 4 times and they always put on a great show.

Pam actually did get his estate and all the royalties to follow but then she over dosed and died and his folks get the royalties to date.

This was info was texted at the end of the movie before the credits.

I was disappointed in the movie had I been able to consult Spielberg it would of been made much differently..........LOL

I would of made it more about the music rather than the story.

He like his movies running over two hours had plenty of time to blow us away with Dolby surround sound using live footage from The Doors Absolutely Live album,hell I would of made the whole movie evolve around that album.

Like I said blow the audience away with sound,would of had more of a cult following and many repeat customers and video buyers.

But WTF do I know?
