The Curse of Nomar Continues

Red Sox about to gain another game on the Yankees. Looking like 2 1/2 back for Boston and even more unbelievable is the remaining schedule for each team. Red Sox with a tougher remaining schedule are still gaining ground. Doesn't get any better than this. Gotta love it!

I think the Sox are 24 and 7 since the trade. It's a new reverse curse, trade Nomar and start winning.

The real curse of Nomar will bite when he and the Cubs beat the Red Sox in the World Series.

What a world series that would be - Wrigley and Fenway, the venerable shrines of baseball showcased in the fall classic. I can dream I guess, while I would root for the Sox, losing to the Cubs would not be near as bad as losing to any other team.

As a Cubs fan, I can say I feel the same way about the Red Sox. We were so close last year, I feel we can get there this year.
