"The connection to the Server has failed".?

I can receive email theis morning ok--but when I try to send an email to ANYONE; it only gives me this error message. Have restarted computer, etc. Problem remains.... Can't send, but can receive. Anyone know about this.

Most likely a problem with your ISP\mail provider. I get that occasionally with Comcast, but it usually resolves itself within 3-5 minutes.

I think you are right about this. It's working again. I received an email that they were having authentication issues and doing something with the phone numbers. But it took the better part of a day.
