It will be fairly interesting to see how our driving habits are influenced by the recent drop in gas prices.
I drive about 3 miles to a park N ride here in Denver, then I catch a bus and transfer to the light rail, which takes me right to my office. The whole commute probably takes 20 minutes more than if I just drove all the way in (16 miles each way).
Anyways, when I started doing this 2 years ago, I could easily find parking at my park N ride location. Didn't matter what time I got there, parking was plentiful.
About a year ago, the parking became much harder to find. Many times, I couldn't find one at all. Recently, parking has become a little easier to find, but still the lot is pretty full.
Once (or if) gas hits 2.25 or so, I wonder if we'll go back to our same stupid driving habits. I will be able to tell simply by whether or not I can get parking at my park N ride location.
Every time I read an article about how those sh1tty Middle East/Venezuela countries are scrambling because the price of oil is down, I smile a little. I just hope Obama makes it a priority that we do everything we can to rid ourselves of any dependence on that crappy area of the world.
I cant stand see these soccer mom whores in suvs makes me want to puke, also these white trash guys with tatoos in big trucks, its disgusting.
