Never seen that one before.

I don't think I could do that if I tried. But I thought the odd thing about it was that the Green Bay players all knew that if it didn't flip it was an invalid toss. Have they been a part of something like this in the past?

I was kind of impressed that the players were looking for it and called the ref on it. Who throws up a coin that can't turn over?

I think we are going to see that rule change after that so both teams get a chance.

I actually like the college rule in this case, at least it seems fair to both parties.

The NFL should hire a professional coin flipper for the playoffs. To assign this important job to a lowly referee is inexcusable.

I think there are some folks on this site who would qualify for that role. I Kid!

I agree. This whole game was ultra bizarre. The feeble attempt to flip a coin was the icing on the cake.

Sign me up for that job. 100K salary, full health, dental and eye insurance and all travel expenses covered. I'd be one bad-ass coin flipper and most likely get voted into the "Coin Flipper Hall Of Fame."

I think Goodell is going to implement a 'scissors - paper - rock' system for the rest of the playoffs

Did anyone hear Rodgers say that when he attempted to flip it the coin was on heads, then when he picked it up he flipped it to tails before he flipped it? Wth?? Just weird
