When it rains it pours, how many people in the country actually took the under on Gallardo vs Suppan? None? And if someone did at 6.5, they are obviously insane. Oh well, I was due for an off day, haven't had one of these in weeks and Wednesdays have been my weakest day. No worries.

Adding one more game...

Hendriks vs Weaver UNDER 7.5 - $24 for $20

As for 5 inning bets, not a fan, never really have been. They just don't feel natural, as ridiculous as that sounds. I'm very stubborn and a creature of habit so I'll always only stick with my full-length over/unders. This is just a very, very unusual string of bad luck that is bound to end at some point, not going to let another bad break affect my style.

What a bizarre day. I bet the under of a NO HITTER... and lose. My second best bet is an under 8.5 that's 2-1 in the 8th inning... and lose. I have an under 8.5, which Vegas immediately changed overnight, with two of the best daytime pitchers... and lose considerably. I am lucky enough to get an over 6.5 bet featuring a guy who hasn't pitched in two years and had a 12+ ERA in TRIPLE A LAST WEEK... and lose because he throws a shutout. (No excuse on Beaven/Shields, which I forced for the minimum because of my crush on Beaven. He'll be fine)

These days happen in good ways. They happen in bad ways. Obviously this was the latter, leading to my worst day of the season. I am embarrassed, I'm disgusted by my record given my success last year, and I'm infuriated that I'm not further along when it's already May. But am I down mentally? Ha, not at all. Not at all. Usual readers of mine already know this, but for newer readers of mine just starting to take my bets and/or reading my work for the first time, there is nobody more passionate about MLB Over/Unders than me. I promise you that - that is a guarantee. I take this stuff very personally, I spend hours every day on it (Night and day, that is), and you can absolutely bet this one-day slump, which is all it will be, won't spill into Thursday. I mean, this was my first losing day since last Thursday so I'm not concerned at all, although I was hit heavy.

Everyone has off days. I just had one quite clearly, albeit with very bizarre stuff in most of the games I participated in. The key to being a successful bettor, especially when you do this literally every single day the whole season like I do, is to just forget about it and move on. I will move on to Thursday, I will be fine, you will prosper as a result with my games, and all will be right again. See you tomorrow.
