You really didn't though. Just because a QB similar to Jackson's talent/style hasn't won a SB yet, doesn't mean it can never happen. Forever is a long time.
If you want to argue that someone with his skill set has never won in the past, then fine. But the NFL is changing every year. Every year it gets closer to flag football rules. Which changes the game and gives a running, athletic QB a chance to be more effective and a chance to stay healthy by avoiding huge hits.
In all honesty, I only went to a couple of parties at ASU. But enough to get a taste of what it was/is about. The best thing about ASU/Tempe is the eye candy for sure.
By the time I transferred there, I was already hitched. My wife and I married very young (HS sweetheart). She was 19 and I was 20 when we got married. I used money from student loans for a downpayment on our first house. So we lived off campus.
I went to JC first since it was cheaper, then transferred to ASU my junior year. Went that route since I had to pay my own way. I went to far more parties in Flagstaff at NAU actually. Most of my buddies went to NAU, while I went to JC my freshman year in Prescott, AZ which is also in northern AZ. So I would drive up there to Flagstaff on the weekends. Almost every weekend it seemed.
What is crazy now? My daughter is a freshman at ASU. Crazy how time flies..

Personally I don't see Lamar winning a Super Bowl. So far, it's been proven a great defensive scheme in the playoffs can shut him down. Although he did improve his passing from year 1 to year 2, he still has a ways to go. He needs to continue to improve in the passing game in order to win playoff games against good/great defenses.
I'm rooting for the guy. He seems like a humble kid. He works hard and his teammates love him. Would love for him to prove me wrong and eventually win one. But history says defenses will catch up to him, he will suffer an injury, or he just won't ever have the complete team he needs to win it. Or all of the above. Only 1 out of 32 teams win the Super Bowl each year. Those aren't good odds for any QB, any given season.
