Yes Donk, glad you noticed the Nebraska game. I was ready to post it myself but
I just spaced it. Nice catch. ..Another category I was considering was "Most
meaningless blowout." But there were just too many of those to settle for just
one or two.

(PS... glad to see you got the humor about the last one or two on the list. There's
nothing wrong with inserting a shameless plug for the Ducks when opportunity
knocks.)

Biggest LOL : A guy on the playoff selection committee getting in to a Jerry Jones type lather.

Very embarrassing for Mr Hayden.

V Tech is for real. QB transfer Michael Brewer was just what the doctor ordered.
Strong is ruining Texas, bad choice and they will pay the price. What top notch Texas high school player would take them over Texas A&M or Baylor.
BYU just keeps on tickin and an undefeated season is not out of the question.
I see Penn St as improving as the season progresses.
Florida St is vulnerable, new DC and Fisher no longer calling the plays.
Watch out for Louisville.
Can't wait until Florida plays someone (9-20-2014 at Alabama)

WTF teams - UCLA, Ohio St, South Carolina, Washington

I suggested last Summer, if Oregon gets past MSU, look-out. They definitely have the "fire-power" to be contenders for the NC.
We shall see. Amazing how that second-half played out last night/

I'm going to hold off on crowning Oregon for now because they have "demons" within the conference that they have to exercise. I did like the adjustments that DC Pellum made at HT. He looks to be a bit more aggressive than Allioti in putting more men/pressure in the box and putting his corners out on islands. i think MSU got out of their element in the 2nd half. But as a PAC12 alum, it felt good.

Biggest near miss I would say was Neb/McNeese St just because of the outstanding play they had to get to not have the game go to OT. UW was up early and then even as much as 59-45. So why it looked close, UW ran out the last 2+ mins of the game.

The other biggest near miss might have been SDSU/UNC. UNC had to get an acrobatic pick in the endzone to save the day as SDSU had driven all the way down to inside the 10yd line.

I agree with you on the Biggest LOL!!! They are lining up on the bridges of Austin to jump off of. And make no excuse for UCLA, I said in a post earlier that they were looking ahead to the game in Arlington this week with Texas. Not only are they looking forward to the opportunity to recruit, but I can tell you that HC Mora will take this game personally as UT AD mentioned that Mora was "Not a real candidate for the Texas HC Job". This was brought to my attention by a UT alum a couple weeks ago. I think that game has the potential to get really, really ugly because UCLA can actually move the ball better than both BYU and NTex and UT still does not have a QB that can get their offense going.

Well Wash is 0-2 ATS so far although they are 2-0 SU. . We've seen successful coaches from the MWC make the move up with little or no success before. Nothing new. I guess you have to judge coaches on the level of competition from which they have coached. Hawaii and E. Wash both pushed them to their limit what will they do against Stanford, USC, UCLA, and Oregon. They get a pass this week (playing Texas) but I think Cal, Arizona St and even Arizona will push them to the limit. Boise St got bumped by a hot Ole Miss but took care of Colo St. and if you recall they went 8-5 last year under Peterson with a much easier schedule than he has this year with Washington.

"They get a pass this week (playing Texas)" what was I thinkin that is UCLA. They play Stanford on week 5 so that will be the defining moment so to speak. They finish the season with 8 straight games without a break. That will be tough run and I don't think they are up to the task.
