Big East 6-4 in BCS Bowls in last decade as per link (6-5 with 2010 loss)
Big East 32-19 in Bowls last decade
Big East 46-36 in Bowls since inception (best winning % of any conference)
2010: 4-2
2009: 4-2
2008: 3-2
2007: 5-0
16-6 in post season play the last four seasons
The Big East has never been the best football conference, and the Big East is having a down year. But to argue that they are not worthy of a BCS Bowl bid is simple uninformed and juvenile.
The conference has a great post season record overall, and a better than average BCS bowl record. They are one of the top 6 conferences year in and year out.
forget about mythology, the facts support their cause

Yes but you forget to mention some of those big east bowl matchups are the:
SEC #8-9 vs. Big East #5. Papajohns bowl
ACC #5 vs. Big East #3 Meineke Car Bowl
ACC #3 vs. Big East #2 Champ Sports Bowl
Big 12 #7 vs. Big East #4 Pinstripe Bowl.
I would hope they have a .500 or better record when their #4 team is playing another conferences #7 team. Or when their #5 team is playing the SEC's #9 team. ect. ect. Also off the top of my head the Big East has never got an at large bid for another BCS game besides their 1 spot to the conference champs.
