In what is sure to be an entertaining fight while it lasts, Rito Rubalcaba will face Epifanio Mendoza in a 12 round bout for the WBO Latin Middleweight Title.

I sent out requests for lines on this bout at 5Dimes, Olympic, and WSEX. And they are all afraid to put a line up. I don't see why there is a problem putting a line up on this one. Both fighters have a good number of fights under their belts and it is for a title (be it recognized or not).

Olympic posted a number. I imagine at least 1 of the other 2 will do the same now.

Mendoza is good, but a 4-1 favorite. DAMN!

It's easy to understand why when you look at Rito's last few fights. Plus the fact that Joppy knocked him out in 1

if you really felt the need to wager, and didn`t mind laying some odds, you could always lay the -325 on the over 11.5 in woods/johnson......

gonna take something strange to happen for that not to go the distance...........

or maybe a small wager on under 5 in mendoza/ruvalcaba.....doesn`t seem like these guys fool around in the ring....

This has turned out to be one hell of a fight on Telemundo. It is a very even matchup.

I do have Mendoza ahead through 6.

Mendoza by RD 8 KO. Magnifico!

Ricardo Mayorga immediately jumps into the ring to congratulate Mendoza. He is ecstatic.

Mendoza says in his interview that he wants a shot at Hopkins. It was clear in this fight that he was not in his best shape, having to fill in for someone else on short notice. But even if he were to get in the best shape of his life, Bernard Hopkins would outbox him and eventually KO him.

I like Mendoza a lot when he is in against sub-par competition. That is it.
