In recent times in the NFL we have seen teams win the SB as wild cards, we have seen teams that were huge odds just a few weeks out from the playoffs go on & win the SB by getting hot at the right time....so with that in mind, which are the best value teams that have some sort of shot at doing the same this year.

I feel New England are clearly the team to beat but not great value at 3 to 1, (personally i took NE @ 6 to 1 so now i'm looking for the value team(s).

Dallas 18 to 1 appeals as i feel they'll win the division & with Arizona & Detroit having a tough remaining schedule i think Dallas end up with home field advantage in the NFC.

The Steelers 33 to 1 is attractive odds, they give me the feeling of a team getting hot at the right team & you have to love having a QB that has been there & done it before, i feel they will win their division with next 2 games at home.

So my 3 bets are, take NE as they are the best team....then the 2 best value longshots are Dallas & Pittsburgh.

Hard to believe but Dallas is 7-0 on the road with road wins over Seattle and Philly. That's the kind of credential that gets you deep into the Playoffs.

I wouldn't rule Arizona out yet. Will have to see how their new QB does over the next couple of weeks.

And another long shot would be the Buffs. They just beat Peyton Manning and Aaron Rogers in b to b games. Real.

Betting a team now before the playoffs isn't good odds.......you're better off betting them in every game & letting it all ride.

That won't happen. My guess is that Seattle will be #1 and Green Bay #2. They both will win their remaining games and even if Dallas wins out, they are the #3 seed in that scenario.

Buffalo did not beat denver

I stand corrected. Buffalo, indeed did not beat Denver. But they did shut Peyton down in Denver (14/20 173 yds; 0 td; 2 picks). They finish at Oakland and New England. If they dance through that minefield with two wins and somehow win tiebreakers, they are a long shot special to win it all. Improbable? Yes. But closer to probable than impossible.

Let's see how it plays out..if New England can clinch home field, then maybe they sit players against Buffalo. If that happens, your Bills will definitely have a shot. I'm a Patriots fan btw.
