I make the best chicken sandwich in the world. I would put it up against any.

It has chicken breast marinated for 8 hours in my special recipe, then Grilled. Onion buns that are lightly buttered and grilled to get the right crunch. Topped with 2 slices of swiss cheese, melted on the chicken while it is still on the grill, and two slices of bacon. Then I put lettuce and slices of homegrown tomatoes (if it's the season). No sauce needed. Awesome!

I still know that my sandwich would blow all those away. I am famous for it around here :suomi:

Don't fool yourself into thinking that those sandwiches at Panera are somehow healthy. I used to eat lunches there until I looked at their nutrition information. The shit they serve there is just as bad as the worst fast food joints, but they make the Panera experience so hearty and wholesome one doesn't realize what they're ingesting. For instance, the Tuscan Chicken:
Nutrition FactsServing Size 14 ounces (398g)
Servings Per Container 1
Amount Per Serving
Calories 740 Calories from Fat 260
% Daily Value*
Total Fat 30g 46%
Saturated Fat 7g 35%

Cholesterol 85mg 28%
Sodium 1570mg 65%
Total Carbohydrate 79g 26%
Dietary Fiber 6g 24%
Sugars 6g
Protein 41g

Add their chips or soup to this...ouch!

I just recently had my first chick-fil-a chicken sandwich a couple of weeks ago myself and had to go back for a follow up meal. I tried that little breaded sucker with pickles and the char-grilled chicken club. The char-grilled is great with either the whole wheat bun or the regular sandwich bun. Gotta smear that polynasion sauce on it to kick it up another notch.

Another good chicken sandwich is the spicy crispy chipotle chicken ciabata sandwich at Jack-in the box. That was my favorite until I tried the chik-fil-a chicken club.

Thats for 14 OUNCES..........WHICH is TWO SERVINGS when compared to the 6 OUNCNE CHIK-FIL-A..........A half TUSCON CHICKEN at PANERA is really ONE chick-fil-a sandwich(1 ounce more than a chickfila actually).............

Jeez. Go away for a little and this thing got out of control. I ordered and ate the chicken sandwich from CRACKER BARREL not chick fill a or whatever the hell that place was.

Really good sandwich. The bread (sourdough) made the sandwich in my opinion. I don't know the nutrional values of this sandwich but it had a FAT feel for a chicken sandwich and I am sure it was. The bun was sopping with grease but most chicken sandwiches have way too thick of bread and this wasn't like that at all, it was more chewy and gooey (the bread).

Here is the scoop, it would have been better but ate while talking to a buddy that I have'nt spoke to in a month (talked about the Lions draft of all things). Also sat down and was betting the Betmania free half point so I didn't get a chance to A) respond to this out of control thread and B) get to savior it a little more.

All in all a very good sandwich. My girlfriend teaches a college computer photo shop course Tuesday and Thursdays so I have to fend for myself food wise. It was alot better than my usual Tuesday nite homemade turkey sandwich.

I will give it a 9 on a scale of 1-10 for chicken sandwiches. The thing is chicken sandwiches are suppose to give you a little healthier feel when you walk away from eating them and this one did not at all. So remember that and I got mine grilled like JM said can only imagine what fried would have made me feel like.

Either way, both are far from healthy. Personally, I stay away from both. Doesn't mean I don't have other food vices though!
