Easy for me to pick the best

Guns N Roses April 1992 at the Rosemont Horizon. Axl and Slash at the Absolute pinnacle of their game.

here is the open to that show, remember it like it was yesterday

Worst show, well i'd have to say it was Motley Crue in Vegas at the joint in October 2005, TERRIBLE sound, Way too loud and they left early to boot.

B4 Anyone On The RXs' Time Except For Maybe Coach LT

June Christy w/Stan Kenton 1953, Mpls Best Ever and I've seen a lot of jazz. Jazz @ The Philharmonic 3 times also great. Sarah in person was awesome. Sorry guys this is so dated, but us OLD men have memories too!! If you're true music lovers listen to some of Kenton's stuff early 50's! I always find it interesting how tastes change w/each generation.

Best Concert: New Year's eve 1971 New York Academy of Music - The Band. Bob Dylan came out for the encore and played about 5 songs and finished with "Like a Rolling Stone". About a week or so before I went to see Humble Pie who were upstaged by the opening act Edgar Winter's White Trash who f*cking blew the house away especially when brother Johnny appeared on stage just after getting out of rehab for heroin. Worst concert - my son's 3rd grade Christmas concert. As the person sitting next to me said," It doesn't matter what they play, it all sounds like a funeral dirge".

Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time tour '87.

If you weren't or are not a metal fan may be hard to believe but Dickinson on vocals was unreal and band was so tight on every song. The had so many great songs from previous albums to play from and did all night. Power actually went out at one point from heat, voltage etc.

Worst was Sting several years ago. Had an arrogant, holy than though attitude on stage and came out in his music. Very let down by show.

I have too many bests and have been too too many concerts, for the most part the "bests" are ones in small venues

I saw Dave mathews right before he became huge in Ottawa at barrymores, a very small club.

Also Ben Harper, in montreal at metropolis.

Ive seen some great BIG shows also.

Phish 1995 on an airforce base in Plattsburgh new york. 200 000 people!!!!!!!

Also Phish on New years eve 1999, in Naples Florida on an Indian base.

On new years eve they played from 11pm to SUNRISE. (NO JOKE)

Other than a plethora of Dead shows, I would have to say Pearl Jam in the mid-90's at Red Rocks.

of course the dead at Rich stadium, one year with STING opening and one year with the Steve Miller band opening were also great!

Best is Queen in 1977.

Worst was Todd Rundgren on New Years eve 1979...he only plyed for 45 minutes and didn't even do an encore.
