jman,
If you remember ly, after about 6 games of the regular season, experts were talking about Orton to win the Heisman and possibly be the number one quarterback and maybe pick in the draft. He then got injured, made some questionable call, and was benched. Orton is a decent quarterback who will get better with more talent around him like Brees has. If Orton could get some more wr help and maybe a decent te and 3rd down rb, that would be the real time to judge him. He will hit the passes and eventually will hit over 60% of his passes. Bears brass have a decision to make when Grossman comes back soon who many in organization still believes should start when he can. I am one that believes you should not ruin a good thing and Orton has gotten it done to this point and they should ride it out. This week's game should be a better test than Carolina with it being on the road and with TB a better running team, good defense, and a good coach. Teams with solid offenses with comparable defenses will give Bears issues imo so if they can win this one, could be in line for home field as Seattle still has tough games on schedule with Giants, at Philly, and Indy. Should be interesting.
