my son and daughter in law moved from the city and bought a large home in CT

they lived in a 300 sq foot loft (maybe smaller) in the west village and their rent was increasing to 3k

their 4 bedroom home with a large yard in a great neighborhood actually costs less per month, and won't go up next year

I believe. I see co-ops in everyday in NYC where the person pays more in a month than I pay in an entire year and it's half the size.
