If one has been watching football for any length of time one would have known that Mike Smith has no clue on the sidelines, no clue managing a game, and no clue coaching a team. Hasn't everyone seen this scenario before. I feel for everyone who bets on Atlanta who besides having a mental midget as a coach has a dysfunctional defense as well. In one season he pulled three similar bone headed moves and cost Atlanta the playoffs or one of the bone headed coaching decisions may have been in the playoffs...

Terrible call but wouldn't have Cleveland used a timeout? I know they would have had to burn one but don't think it changed the outcome. Def a bad decision though.

Perhaps they would have used a TO, but place the decisions (pressure) on the opposing team. There is not reason to be in the situation they ended up being in, na s that ultimately ended up costing them the game.

I didnt watch the game so I was reading the play by play.

So he essentially stopped the clock twice for the Browns. One by calling his own timeout after 2nd down, and two by passing incomplete on 3rd down.
