The Angels are this bad

Don't look now but the Halos are playing terrific ball...that's what I've been expecting from this team all along...games become easier to win the less errors you make..maybe the Angels are starting to figure that concept out.

Agree, hopefully they can continue this after the AllStar Break. Will probably be a neck and neck race with the A's for the divison with the runner up maybe getting aced out of the Wild Card. That Weaver debacle may cost them and Stoneman his job(deservedly so too), if they somehow miss the playoffs by a game or two.

the big question remains, who will the Angels get for the stretch run before the trade deadline? Rumors early swirled about Santana for Carl Crawford...I couldn't pull the trigger on that..Santana and Jerod Weaver are young studs you build a rotation around for many years to come...They need one more big bat in that line-up.

Yeah, good question as they still need a bat or two just like they have for several years now. Stoneman seems very leary of trading any pitcher though and their run production suffers. My guess is he makes no moves, just like always, as I've heard him say they have enough talent to win with what they've got now. Honestly, I don't think I'd wanna give up any of their pitchers either, but they desperately need some sticks in that lineup other than Vlade.

Halos close out 1st half w/a 3 game winning streak!!!

The Angles are now playing baseball the way they are capable of doing...2 games out in the west..watch out for the Halos in the second half.
