Well, I got my first bet to work today with the over in the WAS/ATL game to hit. My tentative card for 6/6/06 (hopefully a lucky day):
A's/Indians UNDER 9.5
Reasons: The pitchers numbers in this game are in favor of the under. Zito is 4-3 with a 2.09 ERA against Cleveland and has an overall ERA of 2.31 on the road. Jake Westbrook has struggled with Oakland in the past, but at home this year is 3-0 with a 1.83 ERA. Oakland's offense isn't exactly stellar by any means either.
Padres/Brewers UNDER 8.5
Reasons: Just like the Oakland/Cleveland game, this game screams the under as well. Jake Peavy has already gone up against the Brew Crew and went 7 scoreless innings giving up 2 hits and striking out 13. Peavy has 5 starts against Milwaukee with a 1-1 record posting a 2.43 ERA. The Padres offense has been struggling all year long, and things might not get any better against Dave Bush who has been solid at home this season going 3-1 with a 2.50 ERA.
Twins/Mariners UNDER 8
Reasons: This matchup already happened once this season, with the twins winning it 3-1. Liriano has been lights out, and there is no reason why he can't keep it going against the M's lineup. Hernandez has had 3 starts against Minny in his young career, going 1-1 with a 1.96 ERA. Under looks like a solid play.
I will probably be adding more as the night goes on and tomorrow comes, hopefully these games will pan out for me or anyone that takes my advice.
